Job Description

Salary: $100,000 - 110,000 per year Requirements:

• 4–8 years of experience in business analysis, requirements gathering, or business process mapping, with interest in taking on increased ownership of the BA function during an implementation
• Willingness to work closely with and learn from the Solution Architect and Senior Engineer, especially while building product knowledge
• Strong motivation to become a subject-matter expert in our platforms configuration capabilities
• Sound judgment and professionalism when managing customer expectations and project scope
• Strong user story writing skills, including the ability to turn ambiguous business needs into clear, testable requirements
• Comfortable working directly with external customer stakeholders, including non-technical staff
• Ability to understand configuration-driven software and conditional business rule logic; coding experience is not required
• Experience supporting at least one public sector health and human services program, such as economic or benefits programs, Child Support, or Child Welfare, and ability to learn additional program areas
• Software testing experience, including exposure to test plan development and leading or directing testing efforts
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Bachelors degree from an accredited educational institution, ideally in IT or a related field; relevant experience is more important than the subject of study
• Preferred: Experience with Diona Solutions or similar COTS case management or mobile platforms
• Preferred: Familiarity with WCAG/Section 508 accessibility standards
• Preferred: Experience working on state or local government contracts
• Preferred: Experience leading or managing direct reports

• Work directly with customer stakeholders to identify and document existing business processes
• Map business processes to our out-of-the-box configuration capabilities, identifying where standard functionality meets needs and where additional configuration is needed
• Develop detailed specifications from high-level requirements, working with customer stakeholders and the delivery team to resolve open questions and edge cases
• Write clear, implementation-ready user stories to guide the Senior Engineers configuration and integration work
• Own requirements day to day throughout the implementation lifecycle, from discovery through go-live
• Assign and direct testing tasks for the Tester based on completed user stories
• Collaborate with the Solution Architect and Senior Engineer on solution design decisions, especially when interpreting business processes may affect the technical approach
